Guests praise the convenient location, kitchenettes, and friendly staff at this retro motel, but the property suffers from inconsistent cleanliness and strong odors that some travelers find disturbing.
The location is very convenient, right off of Main st near Museum. The person at the front desk was nice, no problems with check in. The room itself was on the smaller side which is not a big deal but the carpet was pretty dirty with lots of stains and the cigarette smell in the room was terrible. It was obvious that guests have been smoking inside for a while. The fridge wasn't the cleanest either. The bed was very small but sheets were clean, the wifi was also good. It's good for a 1 night stay I guess.
Just a short way from the main street so no traffic noise. The room was clean, pleasant and had a coffee pot, electric kettle, hot plate, microwave and fridge. Much more than we expected for the price.
I was on a road trip with friends, we booked this motel at the last minute. We loved it. Comfy beds, cold fridge, hot shower with good pressure. Even a soaker tub with jets- I wish I had know, I wouldve brought a bath bomb! Staff was lovely, there is plenty of parking, and everything in town is a 5 min walk away. Will absolutely use th
Lillooet is a great city with nice people. However, 4 Pine Motel is a disgrace to the town. Dirty, unsafe and disgusting. Owners are extremely rude. Homeless people go nearby and do drugs. Steal things. Watch your cars. Do yourself a favor, pick another hotel. Even employees are not happy there and being abused and harassed. Police has been seen on site sometimes. No improvement at all. I stayed there once and badly regretted. Please be safe and don't judge this cute town by that shameful place. Stay safe everyone.
Nice little motel. The price was affordable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean. It's located by a bakery but it's not open on Sunday or Monday.
We were visiting BC for a wedding at Manning Park and decided to do a loop from Kelowna up to Kamloops and over to Lillooet before driving down. The hotel was a bit dated which we knew from the photos and didn't mind. The kitchenette had way more than we expected - microwave, sink, mini fridge with freezer, induction burner, toaster oven, cutlery and plates. We were only there for the night so just used the fridge and microwave but you could easily stay longer and have the ability to cook meals. The room was quiet which was nice and unexpected. The bed was comfortable, the view of the mountains was lovely. It was close to various Lookout points and Seton Lake, as well as the Japanese Internment Camp memorial garden. The price was great at $102 taxes included and they don't put a hold on your credit card which was helpful. Check in was easy and the woman was really nice! She was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again if we are back in this area! Also the water pressure in the shower was fantastic !
Service was great, we needed to do laundry and the person who helped us put us right next to the laundry room without us asking. The room had a kitchenette with a hot plate, microwave, electric kettle, mini fridge, and kitchen sink. Bathroom looked recently remodeled and was really nice. The rest of the room was what you would expect from a motel. It was a non smoking room but smelled like stale smoke. However, once we turned on the AC the smell went away.
