Eagle Lodge is a highly-rated, scenic lodge in Bella Coola, praised for its friendly staff, convenient amenities, and beautiful grounds. Recent guests have particularly enjoyed the on-site cafe, spa facilities, and mountain views, though some have experienced issues with hot tub temperature regulation.
Spent two nights here while on a work trip. It's a fabulous place to stay if you're in the Bella Coola area. It's has a great cabin/lodge vibe, surrounded by scenic beauty. While there, I met some awesome people staying, also on work trips. We chatted, used the outdoor hot tub, and watched Game 1 of the Blue Jays in the World Series...so much fun. Terry and his staff were very friendly and accommodating...top notch service! While it was quite the adventure for me to get to Bella Coola from Vancouver, I will definitely plan a trip back (probably not this time of year lol), but to do some fishing and to stay at Eagle Lodge again!
We spent 4 nights in this very cosy hotel: played 20 games of pool, went into the spa 3 times (sauna + jacuzzi), changed rooms once (can highly recommend the double rooms with 2 queens, double shower), had dinner twice and breakfast twice at Bella Cafe! Super helpful and friendly staff ?
We had a fantastic stay at the lodge. We enjoyed some amazing food while staying here. They even made us some pizzas from scratch and they were incredible! Having the cafe on-site was so convenient. The grounds are beautiful. Honestly, one of the best stays in a lodge we've had. A perfect launching pad to explore the stunning Bella Coola area. Can't wait to return!
What a gem! Wonderful staff, great facilities and incredible food! We were so surprised by how much nicer this was than it seemed in the booking photos. I wound definitely stay here again.
I rarely do the hotel/lodge reviews but this stay was outstanding in my opinion. Customer service was absolutely outstanding: any questions, any requests or asks - accommodated. Super friendly and welcoming staff. All common areas and the guest room were crispy clean! Pool table, hot tub, sauna, bbq, a few cozy sitting areas with the mountain views, free coffee and tea. There’s also a cafe downstairs to get some breakfast and coffee, fishing equipment and souvenirs. Adorable place, highly recommend.
The rooms and lodge itself are very nice and clean. The owners have obviously put a great deal of time, money, and care into creating and styling the lodge, it's quite beautiful. The service after checking in was not great. Went to use the hot tub and it was 43 degrees C so way too hot. Tried a couple times over a half hour period to "ring" (sign said to ring bell) for the front desk person to come up stairs and help see if they could fix it. No one ever did end up coming to help. It's too bad because wow did that hot tub have an amazing view of the mountains.
