We got to experience an unforgettable time in Great Baer. The skiing was challenging, but in terms of views and steepness, it was sensational. Lodge life was cozy, and we always felt well taken care of. The food was excellent and tailored to our needs. Thank you for the great time.

What a gem! First class all the way around. Mandi has created such a complete experience that I'll never forget it. The professionalism, attention to detail, and personalization are unequalled. It starts with first name basis interactions from all the staff when you arrive - you feel like part of the family. Outstanding cabins - 5 stars. Michael gives you a run down of the arrow to pull from the quiver of skis that match your ability and preferences. The ski selection was great and he put me on the right ski. The meals are incredible - each meal was fantastic - beyond impressed. Sauna, massages, and the hot tub - yes please! The skiing: the guides I skied with were Ken, Peter, and Fannie. They were superb. They care for your experience and safety deeply. The runs seemed to match my abilities - no accident there - the guides size you up quickly. The terrane is vast, beyond majestic and deeply moving. We had great snow and for my first time powder skiing in bowls and trees. All these experiences will be indelibly marked in my memory – thank you Great Bear!

If you are looking for a truly unique and completely one-of-a-kind heliskiing experience, you will definitely find it at Great Bear. Describing all the adventures would fill volumes, but the beautiful lodge with its cozy cabins, the alpine landscape so close to the Pacific Ocean, and the incredibly fantastic and varied slopes in a huge area leave nothing to be desired by skiers. Thanks to the small groups and the absolutely professional but equally friendly and family-oriented Great Bear team, you feel at home from the very first minute. One culinary highlight follows another, and all this in the middle of the wilderness. A top performance! The five possible Google stars are therefore never enough. As a replacement some of the missing ones can be seen every evening in the beautiful night sky above the Dean River. Great Bear therefore has only one “problem”: once you've been there, you'll definitely want to come back ?!

Off the ground, the coastal mountains offer stunning landscapes and vistas, often in a pleasant climate. The Pacific ocean can deliver deep snowpacks for small group enjoyment. Apres indulgences include imaginative beverages, a hot tub, sauna, and RMT massage. Cuisine is best described as better than most city fine dining. We just had the most amazing experience at Great Bear Heliskiing. Such a great spot, there is every kind of terrain you would want to ski, right on the ocean! The staff are the best, and the food is next level. Can't wait to return next year!

A truly remarkable family owned operation with immense terrain, spectacular skiing, amazing food and a beautiful lodge in the absolute middle of nowhere unless you ski or fish. The staff is super attentive and pleasant and helpful! Completely unlike any other heli ski operation I have been to.

Everything about this place was incredible. There was a huge variety of terrain, all of which was unique and fun. Within a few minutes we skied pillows, couloirs, and beautiful glaciated terrain, and the entire tenure offered stunning views. The lodge was comfortable, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The Blewett family knows food, skiing, and hospitality better than anyone, and I can't wait to go back. Zoe's desserts are the best I've ever had- it's worth a visit for that alone.

They have everything from world class skiing to gourmet cuisine, to heli rides to natural hot springs along the coast! AND it’s all hosted by some of the nicest people on this planet, you cannot go wrong with Great Bear Heli! ??

Wow! Five star review, come on we need more stars!!! I could write a novel on our experience at Great Bear Heli. You all will have to wait for that though or don’t and just take my word for it and go yourself. Accommodations ? skiing ?? staff ??? food! They have it all including one of the very best Canadian guides the world has ever seen Ken Bibby! Also, just saying they probably have the largest fish a guy could catch on a fly rod, oh and hot springs. Definitely one of the premier places to ski and fish.
