Guests describe Lavender Lane as a hidden gem offering personalized, gourmet hospitality in Lillooet. The host, Wendy Ann, receives consistent praise for her care and attention to detail, particularly regarding the exceptional breakfast and thoughtful amenities like the hot tub and relaxing decor.
Staying at the Lavender Lane was a real treat for us so we insisted on giving a review. After the uncertainty of finding anywhere to stay in Lillooet we had our room booked and ready for our arrival 15 minutes later. We were welcomed into the front room tastefully decorated for the season and shown to our suite immediately by the entrance. A tour of the period home revealed a hot tub with a view of the mountains in the backyard and a number of comfortable places to visit or eat indoors and outside. Settling into our room was easily accomplished by gentle music, a warm electric fireplace heater and a soft duvet on the bed. A couple shows on the big screen tv and we slept deeply on the comfortable bedding. In the morning the shower did not disappoint with plenty of water pressure with modern fixtures in the bathroom and obvious attention to cleanliness and all necessary amenities. Breakfast in the morning rivalled anything available at a gourmet restaurant. My wife said her pancakes were cooked to perfection. My BLT had a touch of magic that I think had to do with the lightly toasted cranberry sourdough bread. Wendy Ann was pleasant and friendly. Conversation was easy and natural. She recommended a few places to see around town before we left. (The old suspension bridge was really cool) We will go out of our way to return again.
I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Lavender Lane B&B in downtown Lillooet. The host Wendy Ann was lovely, and I loved hanging out with the resident dogs, Thelma and Louise. There are 3 unique suites at Lavender Lane. I stayed in the separate cottage, just steps from the main house, called Red Rock Cabin. It was thoughtfully outfitted with everything I needed. I loved relaxing by the fire table just outside of my cabin, and I had multiple soaks in the hot tub during my stay. The breakfasts, complete with lavender lattes were exceptional. It's a superb location, close to everything downtown and easily accessible to Fort Berens Estate Winery, Lillooet Brewing, Abundance Bakery, and close to awesome hikes, trails, and beautiful Seton Lake. I highly recommend this hidden gem for your next stay in Lillooet. Next time I'll look forward to sharing my adventure here with John, Mikki and Merlot.
This is definitely one of the best B&B I’ve ever stayed in. The host has kept the place beautifully and made it so comfortable. The location is great, yet it’s wonderfully quiet at night. And the breakfast was just amazing!
You know when you walk into your grandparents’ place, and you just know you’re going to be well-fed, to be spoiled, and above all, to be well taken care of? Well, that’s how WendyAnn & John made us first time Lillooet visitors feel like ?? I had originally booked an Airbnb close by, only to stumble upon Lavender Lane by accident last minute. I cancelled my original booking thinking to give this a go since my partner loves lavender and this was supposed to be part of the birthday surprise for him. I don’t think genuinely I could have made a better choice. From the food (THE FOOD!! the Angel Hot Cake ?? I will be forcing every breakfast and brunch restaurant I go to to make them now) to the care provided to the amenities to the overall theme- you can just tell there is intentionality behind every step and every decision. We originally were going to check out on Friday but decided to extend our stay an extra night because we had loved it so much, thank you for accommodating us so last minute, WendyAnn! We are currently looking at the dates to return as I write this review ????
There are not enough words for how WONDERFUL this place is! I am beyond grateful to Wendy-Ann for her hospitality and beautiful, unique home. We came to explore Lillooet and we left with a new go-to destination. I wholeheartedly, unequivocally, and without reservation recommend Lavender Lane to everyone! We even extended our trip after just one night to three nights because we loved it so much! Some details: CHECK IN: Super easy! We had texted when we would be here. She let us in and showed us around! ROOM: We stayed in the Red Rock Cabin, right beside the main house and loved it! It’s a gorgeous room with a mini fridge, keurig (both fully stocked), TV with cable, air conditioner, little table, and a comfy bed! I loved having the extra privacy and it had its own bathroom you could access from outside the house. You had full access to the kitchen and living room plus another full private bathroom just for us on the main floor. The bathroom had everything you could want! FOOD: Wendy-Ann makes the BEST breakfast! We had lavender lattes and white chocolate lavender mochas. We had the breakfast and angel cakes all three mornings. We ate outside to look at the mountains, which we loved. SERVICE: I can’t say enough how great it was. Anything we needed, Wendy-Ann got for us. She even got oat milk just for us! She cleaned and folded our laundry for us too - I couldn’t believe it. OVERALL: I love this place and can’t wait to be back. Wendy-Ann is a beautiful human and I truly think of her as a friend ? Also, ask to see their garage! If you love cars, you won’t be disappointed!
We had a fabulous stay at Lavender Lane. We stayed in the outside guest house, which was very peaceful, clean, and included a mini fridge. There was no bathroom attached but multiple bathrooms close to the unit. The whole house was decked out in beautiful lavender colours and fun decor, which added to the charm. Wendy, the host, and her two beautiful dogs were hospitable and cooked us a delicious breakfast in the morning including a lavender latte and homemade cookies. The amenities were wonderful and included a hot tub with a gorgeous view, and lots of spaces to hang out in the house. We will surely be back when in Lilooet next!
