This motel is located in a quiet area, and the rooms are spacious. However, there was a noticeable musty smell in the room. At first glance, it appeared to be reasonably clean, but there were hairs on the carpet and bed sheets. There were even more hairs in the sink and bathtub, and the bathtub drain was clogged, making it difficult for the water to drain. On the positive side, the room rate was very reasonable, the staff were friendly, and parking was convenient. You can see that the motel is making an effort to improve the property. For example, the bathtub is new, and the concrete driveway, lawn, and surrounding shrubs are all well maintained. There’s also a hiking trail just a two-minute walk away. If you don’t mind cleanliness issues too much, this motel can still be a reasonable budget-friendly option. I give 4 rating.

The motel was great value. Also really quiet, no traffic noise at all, being a little away from the main road. The room was much bigger than I expected, the staff were great, beds comfortable, everything clean, with decent toiletries etc. Staff Mike and Sam were super friendly and helpful. We stopped en route to Kelowna for one night, and really rated our first North American Motel experience!

A hidden gem with unforgettable views! We had a wonderful stay at Retasket Lodge! Its location up on the hill means it’s incredibly quiet, peaceful, and boasts some of the most gorgeous mountain views you could ask for. The rooms are surprisingly large, super clean, and the beds are exceptionally comfortable. What really made our stay special was the staff—they are incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely care about their guests. We even saw a few local deer wandering around the property, which was such a cool bonus! It’s the perfect place to relax after a long day of driving or exploring the area. Highly recommend booking here!

No food options. Must walk or drive into town and it can feel like a medium to large walk depending on where you're going. Laundry, but not too amazing for actually cleaning the clothes. The building architecture and layout is good. Great set for pups. Large yard, a sitting area. Though garbage filled property, outdated and the stairs are the same as the other hotel, not pet friendly stairs but pet friendly building. They gave me a room when I asked for pet friendly, once I left they said it "wasn't pet friendly" they tried to ask for more money, I told them to heck off. Make animal friendly rooms or don't say it's pet friendly and THEN ask for more money because I won't. So other than the loud school in the back, the garbage and dried grass it was good. The room itself was okay, the only thing I thought was substantial was the type of bed sheets they had and the layout of the room

very Spacious room and spotless clean. I notice the lodge in booking.com but I recommend to book directly on their website to have more options of room preference and better price! the location is up hill with the view down to the city and private entrance to the lodge making it secured and quiet. Very quick check-in with friendly ladies. plus, so many deers around the area (not in side the lodge).

The room was spacious and very clean. Taylor was so friendly and helpful. Bonus: Spectacular view from the window!

I stayed for one night. It was very cozy and clean and safe and had everything I needed. Cotton sheets and lots of pillows and blankets and an amazing view. I will stay again if I come back.

If you're into rugged remote nature, this is as beautiful as it gets. Beautiful British Columbia at its best.

Look, it's Lillooet, BC. If you are like me you are passing through to get somewhere else. This place absolutely does the trick. Given its way up the hill you really need to drive the short way into town (well, we walked it but its a bummer) but the rooms are big, clean, super functional and really comfortable. We had a great nights rest and would go back if ever in need of a room here.
