Booked the cabin (Site #6) for one night in July on our way to Vancouver Island. In order to park at the site while backing we had to drive throughout the campground and onto the Texas Creek road where we were almost T-boned by Ford Bronco Sport due to poor visibility. We made a U-turn and came back to back into the site. It's possible to use a nearby RV site but it was occupied for a two-way turn. We have a large SUV that barely fit into the parking area. We had to walk around the vehicle either almost falling from the edge to the road below and walk on the slop. It was very tight. The shower located behind the cabin is made of a shed 2 meters tall with a portable waterproof outdoor LED light. It was dark inside nevertheless as the shed is made of dark material. To be honest if it was not for the shower we did not have access to for 3 days before it would be much better to book a campground and use our tent instead crawling around our vehicle barely able to open the doors. This site will be fine for a motorcycle but not a large SUV or pickup. Update: I feel the owners addressed me by name in their reply on purpose to make me delete my review. After considering our struggle I have lowered it to 2 stars (A 3 star review is rated as good experience that we did not have). There was no way for us to make a U-turn at the campground to back into our site and we had to drive through it and come back. There was a couple with a truck camper below us who had the same issue: they drove into the site but they had more room around the vehicle and we did not. It would not be possible for us to drive into this site and then have no room to walk around our vehicle carrying camping gear and luggage. If you visit any provincial or national campground they all design in such a way to back into a site with one-way roads. This campground is complete opposite.

Stayed there 3 nights on site #1. Very nice place, quiet with deer on your site in the evening. Very nice host.

Texas Creek is a stunning tranquille campground. Very well kept, welcoming owners, and the best views and wildlife all around. Would highly recommend!

We stayed 1 night in the B&B during our road trip. It was very cosy, clean and well equipped with microwave, coffee maker, coffee, tea, fridge etc. The breakfast was great. Would recommend staying there!

This is a small and quiet owner-managed site with deer and chipmunks on your doorstep, and the views across the valley are superb. We stayed in an RV so we didn't need the basic onsite amenities. The owner was very helpful with local information

This campground is absolutely delightful! The owners are warm and welcoming, and our site was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. We only stayed one night but loved being surrounded by nature – we even spotted a mountain goat right outside our camper in the morning. The owner was incredibly kind and even lent us a 15A adapter we were missing. Highly recommended!

We stayed on site 5 with an incredible view of the mountains. The hosts were so kind and attentive and made sure we knew where everything we needed was on the property when we arrived - in addition, signage makes things clear. Bathroom was spotless, dish wash station was so handy - electrical on site was enough to run our AC overnight. While property seems well cared for and Pingo was a sweet addition to our stay! Our kids loved his visits and snuggles :) Thanks for a great resting place! We appreciate it and highly recommend to others.

Absolutely loved our stay here! We got a last minute campsite on a long weekend and it was perfect! So quiet and peaceful with gorgeous scenery - exactly what we were looking for. The hosts were inviting and helpful (Pingo included!). Truly a hidden gem!
