Unforgettable Stay at Eagle Bear Lodge I came to Eagle Bear Lodge on a work trip and was completely blown away. What started as just another assignment turned into an experience I’ll never forget. Whether you're traveling solo or with a group, this place is an absolute gem—and hands down the best choice for accommodation if you're in the area for work or a little get-away from home. David and Jennifer are phenomenal hosts. Dave is always ready with a quick joke to keep spirits high, and Jen's storytelling makes every evening feel special. They made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Jennifer is an amazing cook who kept us well-fed, and Dave’s desserts? Next level. And then there’s Trooper and Daisy—the friendliest dogs you’ll ever meet. Trooper greeted me every morning on my way to breakfast, and both pups will absolutely steal your heart. The scenery is stunning, too. The lake view changes with the light and weather, offering a new kind of beauty every day. Honestly, if you’re talking to your boss about where to stay—this is it. You won’t regret it.

Wonderful experience. The Hosts are thoughtful, entertaining, and kind hearted animal lovers. They give a home away from home experience. Due to the lake and forested area, there is a lot of wildlife to experience and image. These people are perfect guides!

It's very rustic. Like just know that. But it's super quaint, the surroundings are beautiful. The staff are so pleasant. You're in the wilderness and there's rodent and animals in the wilderness. It's amazing place to disconnect and just enjoy nature. They have WiFi in the main cabin but like just enjoy the lake etc.

A little piece of paradise for those wanting to get away from the bustle of the city and truly find peace with nature. The Moose cabin was rustic and private for our romantic get away with our dog. No cell service and limited wifi made it an ideal get away where one could enjoy Eagle lake and it surrounding mountains and wildlife. From the comfort of our bed, we watched shooting stars light up the crystal clear night sky. Best if all were the hosts who went above and beyond to accommodate us. They made our stay wonderful with great conversation, local knowledge, and spectacular food. Overall this stay was more then we could ask for and we can't wait to go back.

Overall an excellent stay. Quiet, serene and beautiful. The cabin is beautifully appointed - immaculate and cozy. The hosts are super nice and very knowledgeable. Their knowhow about the locale, nearby points of interest and activities is impeccable. Super flexible with some of our most unusual requests. The food was delicious and they were kind enough to accommodate our dietary restrictions. Highly recommended for at least 2 to 3 nights. Thank you Dave and Jen for letting us stay, we will definitely come back soon!

This is such a lovely place! Eagle Bear Lodge is one of my favourite places in the Chilcotin and super private, secluded away from all the Hustle and bustle directly on the lake. Jen and David are great hosts and their cabins are very cute, comfortable and have everything you need. I had breakfast and dinner here and it was absolutely fantastic!! Home made bread, fresh fish, home made deserts, granola, etc. There are different activities the lodge offers or you can just go explore the area and lake by yourself. David and Jen have a lot of experience observing and photographing wildlife and are always willing to give advice and be helpful with tips of what to do and where to go explore. This is truly a very special place where you can reconnect with nature and enjoy the quiet with beautiful views of the lake and mountains!

Eagle Bear Lodge is a gem in one of the prettiest areas of BC. Rustic yet modern, it’s a unique get-away so calm and beautiful you won’t want to leave. Don’t book fewer than two or three nights! Surrounded by breathtaking views and with marvellous photographs on the walls, the dining room is homelike and the meals delicious. The cabins are cozy and clean. David and Jennifer are sophisticated yet down to earth hosts, and full of fun; very knowledgeable about wildlife and the environment!
