The Ramada by Wyndham Williams Lake consistently receives negative reviews, citing significant cleanliness issues, overwhelming odors (particularly curry), and a generally rundown condition. While some appreciate the friendly staff and location, persistent complaints regarding outdated facilities, noise, and malfunctioning amenities like the hot tub significantly detract from the guest experience. Recent reviews highlight issues with room cleanliness, uncomfortable beds, and persistent odors.

By far one of the worst hotels ive stayed at . Disturbed sleep with other loud guest , those smoking outside the back door causes smoke in your room disgusting. Other guests are completely inconsiderate of others . Hallways are hot n stink of cigarettes and booze. Beds are uncomfortable and hot despite having heat off . No laundry no hot tub and only hot breakfast between 7am-8am it actually starts. Not at 6am like they state when you check in. Wallpaper is falling off toilets are ducttaped to the walls . Front desk was no help when you complain about other loud guest ? Expect a small 2 person elevator that reaks of cigarettes.

I have in the past thought of Ramada as reliably pretty upscale as hotels go. This RAMADA fails miserably. First off and very bluntly, it was just flat out dirty. The carpeting throughout looked as though it had neve been cleaned. The associated food service was wrapped only around India cuisine. Not bad but if I wanted to be in India I'd go there. When I go to a food service in a hotel I expect a food selection which is not entirely wrapped around one rather unique style. The elevator was slow and very small. Two people two bags and that was it. So you had to wait sometimes more than two attempts to be able to get in. The shower was ridiculous. Rather than a curtain it had been up styled to a clear glass wall which ran about 2/3 rds of the length of what was probably at one time a tub. Problem was, to turn the water on you had to go all the way into the falling water while trying to get the setting to something that was neither too cold or too hot. Crazy! Maybe that's what some India showers are like though my experience there would not support that. In short - there's two hotels less than 1/4 mile down the road that are probably better.

Kajal was amazing with accommodating my disabled grandmother taking any issue with the utmost care and even coming to look at rooms with me to make sure they were suitable for her. Highly recommend staying here

Having a separate bedroom was kind of nice. The room is spacious, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall a great stay. Would stay here again!

Friendly staff and quick check in but the smell of Currie was overwhelming. Carpet in the rooms are gross. Very strong curry smell permeates all the way to the 2nd and 3rd floors. Nice location.

Please do not stay here, there is not much that I can say that doesn’t just echo the complaints of other reviewers, it is bad. From the moment you walk in you are hit with this overwhelming smell and a hot and humid stuffiness that just makes you want to walk right out the door again. The elevator was out of order which might have been a good thing according to other reviewers who say it should be decommissioned. We took all of our bags up FOUR STORIES in a somehow even smellier staircase. The layout of the rooms is confusing and we couldn’t find our room for a solid few minutes whilst bumbling around the halls, sometimes they just skip room numbers which can be found down random dead ends on the other side of the floor. There were stains all over the carpet and it was incredibly uncomfortable and stuffy, we had to open the window, not that it made much of a difference. We were in and out of the room in about five minutes as we simply could not stay here, it also looked like the kind of hotel to have bedbugs. For $200 dollars a night this was extremely disappointing from the Ramada name, while it is called a Ramada it hardly lives up to the standard set by the brand. It’s Williams lake so of course you shouldn’t expect a five star experience, but still, do not stay here. This was incredibly disappointing and we will not be coming there again, we we recommend strongly neither do you. We moved to Best Western which was miles better and we were able to stay the night in a clean and not stuffy room. Thank you for your time in reading this review and head our warning not to stay here. Please. Best wishes, the Paul family

I chose the Ramada because, well, it's a RAMADA. But this is a Ramada in name only, and boy, oh boy, did it under deliver. The lady at the front desk was very kind, when I called to make the reservation they were also very kind. But let's get into the rooms. The room was pretty terrible, dirty walls, carpet, smudges, and stains throughout. The place smelled like air freshener and cigarettes. There's clearly someone smoking in the hotel. My guess would be that they smoke in the elevator for some reason. But the bed was clean and very comfortable! which is good because I went there to sleep. Next time, I will definitely be choosing another hotel, but I mean, we're in Williams Lake and not Vegas, so I don't know what I was expecting.I got a good sleep out of it. That's really all I can ask for.

Front desk staff was amazing. Cleaning Crew starts early, And have no respect for people trying to sleep passed 7:30am. Building is old, and on the corner of 2 highways. Very cheap windows and paper thin walls Guaranted you will be Up all night. Or at best very early in the morning. The elevator SHOULD be decommissioned and the "Hot tube" was actually non functional. Hard "No"

I was happy with the check-in process and the free yogurt for breakfast, but the overall experience was nothing special. The decor is somewhat dark and drab. It lacks a cohesive look and feel, with old office furniture piled in the lobby corner and mismatched furniture in the seating area The grout and calking in the bathtub were stained with black spots. There was also a dark patch of dried blood or sauce on the carpet. Below my window, something electrical was buzzing all day and night which was annoying. I suspect there are newer, brighter options along this stretch of highway so I'd look elsewhere if I have to go back to WL for anything.

I’ve stayed here many times for the location and service. The rooms are okay, they need a refresh. This stay I needed to check in early (before 1pm) due to several conference calls that I needed privacy for. The front desk clerk was amazing and got me upgraded to a different room because my room wasn’t ready, truly appreciated her.
