The Lakeside Motel offers a quaint experience with lake views and a convenient location near the mini-golf course and local attractions. However, recent reviews highlight significant cleanliness issues and maintenance concerns, suggesting inconsistent quality.
HOW DID THIS PLACE GET TO BE NEAR 4 STARS!? HOW. I am BAFFLED. I walked right in and walked right back out. Old food on the floor, cigarette burns on one blanket, and the other barely hanging on by a thread so ZERO chance they are being washed. Busted sliding door that didn’t lock. I don’t think they have ever used a broom or a mop. Do yourself a favor and skip the Lakeview and just go to the Ramada. I would have slept in the car over Lakeview if I couldn’t find another room. What is even more disturbing is that the front desk didn’t seem at all shocked when I told them that I wasn’t staying and the room was disgusting. I’m good with outdated. I’m good with quaint. I’m NOT okay with filth. @Expedia: you should remove from your recommendation.
We loved this room! There are screened in decks with a view out to the water. Everything was clean. We couldn't get the coffee pot to work more than once tho.
Early season Mini Golf ponds weren't full and pipe was clogged but once they clean it up it will be great.
I'm a Williams Lake local and never stayed at the motel, but five stars for the great mini golf course. A fund experience on a Saturday afternoon with friends. Just an added attraction to our town.
The room was awfully filthy, blood stains on the sheets and stains on the carpet, that seems to be very old and rarely vacuumed. Accumulated dust everywhere, the towels didn't smell like clean, they don't use white towels as normal, instead a dark blue color, so you can't even tell if they are stained. The walls are like paper thin, you can hear everything from your neighbors, we couldn't rest, if you stay near the weekend be ready for drunk people partying, then fighting. Horrible experience, would not recommend.
The room was comfy and clean. The staff was friendly and they allowed our can and dog. It was just hard to find if tou didn't have a good navigation as the sign is hard to see an read.
Stopped of on our journey back home to sleep for the night. Was a quaint and cute little place, beautiful view! We didnt stay for long but it was amazing for the quick rest. Good price.
Had to stay a night in William’s lake and picked this motel. The room was very cozy, I really liked the large fridge, microwave, and ample coffee supply. The balcony was really nice as well. For the price, this motel was great value.
This is an old-school motel, like I remember when I was a kid. Call it retro, if you will. The nice surprise is that my room was clean and more importantly in good repair. Nothing weird to report here - just a cozy low key in dependant motor hotel.
We didn't stay here but thoroughly enjoyed the mini-gulf that was only $7.00. It is lovely with romantic lighting for the evening and there is a beautiful creek flowing alongside the whole mini-golf course. The office staff were so friendly and appreciated having the little outing to stretch our legs after a long drive.
