Clean and nice (currently undergoing various renos). Very good customer service. Unfortunately, the mattresses were softer than a fresh bag of marshmallows.

I travel for work so spend many nights in hotels, but this hotel has a very welcoming vibe. From check in to check out the desk staff Dorian and Tracy were wonderful. They made recommendations and assisted with every step of the check in. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel when staying in Williams Lake!

Check in took half an hour even though I had pre paid and there was no other customers. Common areas smelled bad "due to construction" and was asked for change by a street person milling around the hallways. Noticed a pile of 30 or so mattresses in the lobby and asked if they had had any bedbug issues to require that many mattresses. (Out of curiousity, my room was clean enough) The gentleman at the front desk told me " even if we did, we would never tell you". I won't be staying here again.

Friendly staff, room is very underwhelming and facilities are in disrepair, I wouldn't rate a three but the staff has been good. I would like to change my review the circuit for the fridge slash microwave tripped I couldn't get help sorting it out so I had to rearrange the room and only plug in essentials to the only other circuit to make the fridge work as to not have my food go bad. Poor infrastructure and couldn't find me another option for a room. I would say they should pay you to stay here and not the other way around!!!

Dorian at the front desk went above and beyond for us through our entire stay! We were passing through late on a long road trip and he made sure we were comfortable. Can't stress enough how great the service was, would stop here and at any hotel Dorian worked at just for the excellent service!

Guest Services Manager, Tracy Roy, is the best! I book all the hotel rooms for our employee travel and Tracy makes it so simple for me. I've given her a couple tricky requests before and she comes through every time. Love the Sandman and love Tracy!

I had a good time staying at the Sandman. Great location with restaurants and grocery store right around the corner. The staffs were very helpful and knowledgeable of the local area. I received many great recommendations from Dorian and Vanshika. Will be staying again and definitely book ahead as the location gets packed throughout the year.

I stay here every time I come to Williams Lake. The suites are spacious and genuinely feel like home. Big shoutout to Tracy Roy for helping me out and making sure I was accommodated, even when I accidentally booked the wrong room. Always a great experience.

Great location Absolutely amazing customer service, i definitely love Tracy Roy’s friendly face and happy chats each and every day. My room was quite clean when I arrived however there was a few things that needed to be fixed and their maintenance guy Cory was very quick to arrive checked all issues and was very quick to have them repaired which I greatly appreciated. housekeeping supervisors Shawnna and Mikaya are both very friendly and professional staff and are quick to respond to any housekeeping needs. Towels were very soft and white and sheets crisp and comfy shout out to crystal in laundry. I met the wonderful badal who helped me clear out some garbage I had piled up and on the way out he began explaining to me what he has been working on with the landscaping and how he hopes to bring the surrounding trees along side the building back to life, he seems very knowledgeable and is great to chat with. Looking forward to seeing the outcome of the renovations currently being done

Had a lovely stay here after working out of a bush camp for a while. Was exactly what I needed! My room was upgraded for free, and it was super cozy and relaxing! Guest services manager Tracy was very sweet!! Would recommend and would stay here again. :)
