Had a lovely few nights in cabin 7 and really appreciated the extra space both inside and out. Luca and Laura are fantastic hosts and treated us like family from the minute we arrived. My mom especially loved being accepted as a surrogate “mom”. We’ll be back next year!

Rooms were clean enough. Brought all our own bedding. Toilet was clean and shower was clean. But overall the whole cabin needed a lot of maintenance. Severe slope in the cabin and cobwebs everywhere. Mattress was alright. Views outside were beautiful. Grounds were very unkempt and outhouses are a definite DO NOT USE unless absolutely necessary. Traffic going by was very loud - loud enough you couldn't hear your conversation. Not ideal for big groups unless you're lucky enough to book the chalet. Very spread apart. Dry camping for RV's. Apparently fishing is good. And the birds / loons were a treat. Did not swim, but others did and said it was nice. Overall it had what we needed. But we were expecting much better for the price. Would likely not stay here again.

Beautiful location. Campground has no services, just a field with some scattered fire pits , picnic tables and 2 disgusting outhouses. No showers. The restaurant is closed for 2026 but they have not updated the website. Maintenance is not a high priority.

Blue herons, red winged blackbirds, loons, arctic terns, ducks. Bring your binoculars. Favorite part was the covered porch where we'd have our morning coffee.

Luca and the staff were amazing. The chalet we stayed in was clean and comfortable. And roomy! I would come back here for sure!

Super friendly owners and some units have beautiful lake front views. There's some road noise but not too bad. The rooms are very dated and have a heavy odor. I aired it out for an hour before I wanted to be in the room.

We spontaneously drove into this location last night on the off chance they had an opening. We loved the look of the log cabin buildings and proximity to the lake. We were able to get a cabin (#4) for a very reasonable price. Pros: Very reasonable price (perhaps the shoulder season?); kitchen was fully appointed and had full-sized appliances; linens and bedding all provided; firm mattress was my preference; lots of bird activity to view; visible placement of fire extinguishers; placement of cabins mainly North facing allowing for lots of shade opportunities; literally steps from the lake; log cabin ambience off the charts. Cons: No internet in the cabin, but available in the office area. Some people mentioned the highway traffic across the lake - the log construction really muffled most of the external noise and with the windows closed it was only a hum. This may be different in the summer. Restaurant not yet open for the season but we were stocked with our own food anyway. *some people may not like the 1-minute boiling process to make the lake water safe to drink. We had a flat of bottled water so it was no issue for us.

We had the best time there! Felt like part of the family! Luca and Olivia made sure everything was perfect and we felt taken care of. Cabin was in pristine condition, cozy and clean. Can't wait fo be back!

We rented two cabins no#5 and no#6. These rustic cabins were excellent, clean and perfectly set up right at the waters edge. The people who run the place really do their best and made our stay memorable for our family. This is truly a hidden gem for a nice little nature getaway!

We had rented the chalet with our son and his family. The chalet was clean and we were pleased with the personal service. We were able to rent canoes for the days we were there. The staff was warm and very welcoming. The only thing we would do differently is bring our own bbq as one was not available
