The pictures online did not do the cabin justice, It was immaculate, cozy and very well stocked with everything you need. Gorgeous lake, was passing through for work, will definitely be back when I can explore the area and try some fishing.

Stayed 2 nights while working in the area. Cabin was well-built, clean, and had everything you need. Linens and beds were very comfortable and new. Little touches like clean towels, kleenex boxes, hand soap etc elevated the cabin experience. Loved the little barbecue on the deck. Dishes in our kitchen were good quality and matching ... not that I need matching dishes to enjoy myself but it's just an example of the nice touches that made us feel we were 'guests' , not 'campers'. Shannon was very accommodating, helping us plan drop-off of some building supplies and presenting us with options on where to park our trailer etc. Wifi is good, but doesn't reach all cabins/campsites. Hey, sometimes a "soft unplug" is just what the dr. ordered.

Our family camping trip to Barney's Lakeside Resort was the highlight of our summer! Pristine clean campsites, comfortable warm shower/toilet rooms, convenient fish cleaning station, spectacular views, PELICANS and super friendly hosts make this a permanent destination spot for our family! ???????????

I only stayed one night, but was very happy with my room, and the location on Puntzi Lake is stellar. (Extra points for the loons on the lake!) Our hosts were warm, friendly and helpful, and I felt very well cared for. I would cheerfully spend more time here on a future visit!

Went here while doing work in the area. Barney's was a really nice place to stay. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The bed was more comfortable than a lot of hotels I have stayed at. My cabin had power with fridge, stove, toaster, and microwave. There were towels and face cloths available for my use in the kitchen and bedrooms. There was a wood stove for the colder months as well as a gas BBQ on the deck. Shannon and Skip were friendly and great to deal with. If I was travelling in this region again I would certainly stay here again

We camped with our travel trailer at Barney's and had a wonderful experience. The gazebo at the lake was such a beautiful place to gather, the grounds are well kept, the shower/bathroom was clean and the manager was great! We would definitely recommend this resort.

We stayed only one night in our camper van....wish we had found this place with time to stay longer. It is a gem. Skip and Shannon were friendly, welcoming, and informative. We liked everything about our stay...roomy site, wonderful scenery, clean facilities, quiet. Judging by the photos, a lot of upgrading has been done in the past couple of years. If you are travelling Highway 20, don't miss this beautiful spot!

Our family of 4 stayed at cabin 3 after leaving Bella coola earlier in the day. The cabin was not glamorous but for the crazy low price I could not have expected a better stay. With a full kitchen including coffee and an epic view of the lake from the porch or inside it was the best place to rest our heads before hitting the road again. The wild horses outside the gate was a great highlight as well. I only wish we had arrived the night before to see the northern lights and use the double kayaks. If you set your expectations low Barney’s is an absolute treasure .

We enjoyed our RV spot and get away, view of the lake as soon as we opened our door was a beauty. We enjoyed the boat ride rentals also. The property was very cleaned and organized. shower rooms were nice and clean. All in all I recommend this place for a wonderful adventure and get away from that fast life.

Just pulled in for the weekend and we're blown away by the cleanliness of the resort and friendly owners. 10/10 recommend this spot for your getaway! The cabins are beautiful. ? ?
