We stayed 5 nights in January. Wolf cabin is a beautiful cozy warm cabin. It has a lovely view of the meadows on this fantastic property. We enjoyed daily walks on the trails. It is so peaceful and tranquil. Eagle Creek borders the property. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding area. We highly recommend this awesome place. Owners are very accommodating and friendly.

We stayed 2 nights in the Eagle cabin. My husband’s family lived at Canim Lake for many years so he knew the area well. The cabin had everything you could ask for. We cooked all of our meals with no issues. The bed was comfortable and there was nothing we could have wanted. Dishes, pots, pans and a large sink to wash up in. The main bed is a loft bed so you must be fairly nimble to get up the ladder. But there is also a futon on the man floor. There is no washroom in this cabin (we knew this going there). The outhouse was clean and had no bad odour. The shower facility was a private washroom for that cabin’s use only, which I really appreciated. It was clean and even had a blow dryer. One thing was there was no toiletries. So make sure you bring your own soap, shampoo and conditioner. The ranch is picturesque and has walking trails you can enjoy. We saw some deer walk in front of the cabin and enjoyed watching the sunset over a pasture filled with of horses! The quiet is almost unreal. No traffic and no cell service. They do have wifi so you can stay in touch with the rest of the world as much as you need to. But once you’re there, you don’t really want to. The lake is just across the way and access to the public beach is just a few minutes down the road. We enjoyed exploring the area and visiting Canim and Mahood falls at Mahood Lake. This area has never ending trails and lakes and you can find many easy hikes close by. We hiked to Schoolhouse Lake (not a long or hard hike) close by. You will not regret staying here!!

Amazing location if you are looking for a beautiful, super quiet location to spend your down time. 20 acre property that’s yours to explore with trails in the woods, creek and open space. Amazing views from every location. Staff is laid back and happy to help make your stay perfect. They offer canoe and kayaks down the Eagle Creek and artisan beef, sausage, and eggs from local farms.

We had a great stay at one of the cabins at Kayanara. Very peaceful, beautiful views. The cabin was very clean and well appointed. Lots of privacy. Service was great! Look forward to returning!

We stayed in the Bear cabin for 3 relaxing and cozy nights in early May. A much needed get away for our family. Marked Trails , wilderness, horses ( to view, not to ride) creeks and close proximity to Canim lake and Hendrix falls. Hosts were lovely and welcoming . Cabin was well stocked, clean and the wood stove was blissful! It was the most relaxing vacation we’ve had and it was an opportunity to reconnect with each other and ourselves in the quiet rural Cariboo. I’ve recommended it to everyone who will listen 10/10!! In regards to the basic travel items- Check in and out were a breeze, the cost was beyond reasonable, weather was fantastic, and there was strong WiFi but no cell service (yippee!)

We've been here twice before and come for the natural beauty and absolute peace and quiet. Hiking trails, paddling on Eagle Creek, stunning views, proximity to other nature experiences (falls, lakes, scenery, etc) Views from the cabin are unparalleled. Wolf cabin is well stocked with cooking items and appliances, plenty of hot water for showers, fire pit, and ambience of indoor wood burning heater, with alternate heating if necessary. The log construction keeps the spacious cabin cool in summer and holds heat in cooler seasons.

Great place to stay! This was our third time staying here with our dog. It's very peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Perfect spot to unplug from everyday life. The hiking trails on the property are a great spot for a light hike. We saw lots of deer and foxes daily around the cabin. We will be back again!
