They don't really have rooms, just a few primitive cabins, but they are comfortable. They RV parking is great and so are the tent sites.

We visited Loon Bay Resort for a day in October, and it was a wonderful experience. The lake is absolutely beautiful, the climate was perfect, and the whole place is peaceful, quiet, and authentic. It's the perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature. A special thank you to Leandro, who took the time to show us around the resort. He was very friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. His tour gave us a great impression of the property and everything it has to offer. We would definitely come back and highly recommend Loon Bay Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful natural setting.

Just got back to Alberta from a 2 week fishing trip at Loon Bay Resort and as always it was just amazing. From the friendliest and caring owners and staff, to the kind and helpful other campers staying there. The scenery always captivates our beautiful campsite and the size of the fish keeps me hunting for Walter. Thankyou and see you in September.

The room was awesome since it was my trailer. Service was good and the locations is excellent right on the water. Loved being non the water and catching a fish made it even more sweet

I stayed at loon bay with a friend in early October 2025 - we came to fish. The resort residence made time to help us understand the fish habits of their lake, and opened our eyes to some fly-fishing techniques we hadn't considered. While we were there (four nights total) we caught some fair sized trout overall, and another 'camper' also caught a 10 pound trout. What an amazing experience!! Additionally, I mistakenly left my cellphone in the office at departure - they express-mailed it to me without delay and refused additional compensation. I highly recommend this resort for it's breathtaking scenery (get a boat and explore the bay, even on a windy day there are calm areas and fantastic fishing) - there are also 20 pound rainbow trout in this lake, and we literally saw some spooky sized trout swimming around in the shallows. Edit* We also watched two moose swim cross the lake together at the mouth of our bay, to straight mornings at around 7am.

Camping was AMAZING !!! And staff was so friendly and helpful!! Just love it

Amazing site for cabins and trailers. The owner do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. Most folks come back year after year.

First time camping at the popular Sheridan Lake and it sure didn’t disappoint us even though it was so windy, the water was a breathtaking green hue, we enjoyed a fire and we could hear the loons shrilling and the view was absolutely stunning like a postcard.

Beautiful lake front views from the cabin. Cabin was clean, has heating, and good internet. Great family-run business with the nicest people who accommodated all my last minute requests.
