I stayed at loon bay with a friend in early October 2025 - we came to fish. The resort residence made time to help us understand the fish habits of their lake, and opened our eyes to some fly-fishing techniques we hadn't considered. While we were there (four nights total) we caught some fair sized trout overall, and another 'camper' also caught a 10 pound trout. What an amazing experience!! Additionally, I mistakenly left my cellphone in the office at departure - they express-mailed it to me without delay and refused additional compensation. I highly recommend this resort for it's breathtaking scenery (get a boat and explore the bay, even on a windy day there are calm areas and fantastic fishing) - there are also 20 pound rainbow trout in this lake, and we literally saw some spooky sized trout swimming around in the shallows. Edit* We also watched two moose swim cross the lake together at the mouth of our bay, to straight mornings at around 7am.

Amazing site for cabins and trailers. The owner do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. Most folks come back year after year.

First time camping at the popular Sheridan Lake and it sure didn’t disappoint us even though it was so windy, the water was a breathtaking green hue, we enjoyed a fire and we could hear the loons shrilling and the view was absolutely stunning like a postcard.

Beautiful lake front views from the cabin. Cabin was clean, has heating, and good internet. Great family-run business with the nicest people who accommodated all my last minute requests.

Spectacular spot. We rented cabin 5 for 4 nights. Nice and quiet with great lake view. Watch huge fish jump from our deck. Very clean and pet friendly. Brought our cat.

I've tented, stayed in a cabin and stayed in a 5th wheel trailer here. This is an amazing place to stay. Super clean and super friendly. Will always recommend it.

The camp owner was very accomodating. We got there late in the afternoon after a long ride, didn't have a resrrvation and they gave us a place where we could pitch our camp. Even gave us extra chairs and provided us firewood. Nice view and really friendly owner. Will bring my family here next time.

Fantastic resort. We stayed at the cabins a couple times this year and both times were a great experience. The cabins are very well stocked with all kitchenware, and other basic necessities. They are very clean and well laid out. The resort is situated 2 minutes from a gas station, convenience/liquor store, and a Rona hardware store. The owners are super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this resort.

We actually stayed here several years ago, and it was so much fun. I thought I'd write a positive review after experiencing another terrible cabin stay in a separate part of BC, which made me miss good campgrounds like Loon Bay Resort. When we stayed here, the owners were super friendly, there was a show at a small ampitheater, and one of the staff actually brought over his guitar and played some songs with us around the campfire one night. The cabins were clean, the lake was fun to canoe around, and all in all, I hope to come back someday!
