This lakefront resort offers powered sites and cabins with stunning views, though guests may encounter challenges with English communication depending on the current ownership. The property is praised for its scenic location and amenities, including canoes/kayaks and firewood during previous stays.

Great powered sites attached to the lake! Camp host couple were super friendly and helpful. Washer and dryer (paid on honour system) on sight as well as a paid shower. Sites are reasonably sized we were theory folks there for the week. We had many fox sitings as well as free range horses Come right by our sight! General store is a short walk with cute souvenirs and basic groceries, smoke shop and liquor store. Will go again if headed to that region!

Learning from the racist below that there are new owners I might go back and try this place again. The previous owners when I was there two years ago were disrespectful and rude. The boat I rented barely worked and the cabin refrigerator was broken. As far as pet friendly they didn't try to kill my dogs so... well that's the only thing close to that. New owners who are Asian? Good. I would have rated 1 star if the resort didn't change hands. Don't take advice from the "local guide. "

We were very sad to find new owners here. It is now owned by Chinese people and the caretaker at the time we were visiting did not speak English well, or at least at the times that we needed things he didn’t speak English well. Several times he was quite rude and one thing for sure is we will not return here to stay. There are other lovely resorts on the lake that we will return to because Nimpo lake is an amazing, beautiful place.

I stayed in the Hilltop Cabin, truly wonderful place to stay. Many water activities to do at the resort and other things in the village. Hosts were really nice and helpful with both the accommodation and knowing local activities. Didn't stay here long enough to truly appreciate it so I hope to come back one day. Also, there's a resort cat to hang out with! Amazing.

We stayed in the Pioneer Cabin for two peaceful nights. The cabin was very clean and the scenery was just what we wanted for our vacation. Being able to pet the resort cat was the icing on the cake!

Stayed for two days at the resort in our travel trailer. We were quite happy to find that firewood and use of their canoes and kayaks was included in the price of the stay. The dock was great for swimming from and the owners were hospitable and knowledgeable. The drinking water was excellent too.
