Plato Island is truly magical- the facilities are perfect, the scenery is beautiful and we absolutely love our time out there. The docks, the water, the location are all just the best. Thank you Plato Island for all that you provide your guests!

Plato is a well run resort the grounds are always clean and well kept.The meals Marita prepares in the restaurant are 5 star .Marita and Kyle make the resort feel very welcoming always friendly.A great place to spend your summers

Amazing location, very clean and tidy! Flushing toilets and hot water showers if needed! Cabins are the cutest! They have flushing toilets in cabins and hot water showers! Very close to the beach walk down and relax for the day! Beautiful views

My partner and I took his staff out to Plato Island Resort for a company fishing derby. Marita and Kyle were terrific hosts! We held a company dinner in the clubhouse, and Marita and her staff made the most delicious gourmet 4-course meal. It's not something you would expect from an off-grid resort! All our team stayed in the cabins, which had been beautifully renovated. We had great feedback from our team and loved it so much that we decided to moor our boat there for the rest of the season! We will be back! Thank you, Kyle and Marita, for such a wonderful experience.

Marita and Staff at Plato Island Resort are wonderful & very accommodating! Not only are they great hosts, they are extremely warm & caring people. Many of my family have stayed here before, but we got the pleasure a few weeks ago - and couldn't have had a better experience. Not only does it perfectly compliment Off-grid camping - it's an absolutely gorgeous spot to be! (We have already booked 3 more weekends we loved it so much) I see the negative reviews on this place and cannot believe the nerve of some people. OFF-GRID camping is exactly that - so for someone to complain about power & wi-fi - don't drive out into beautiful rural country expecting your typical big city campground, that should be a little obvious. And for the "hidden" charges - there was none. Marita was very upfront with extra vehicles, pet deposits & rates. My husband and I are avid campers and it's no different than any other campsite's I've been to. Plus - it's on the website - and if it's not - then perhaps I would inquire ahead of time if I was thinking of putting two RVs on one site.. It's obvious the poor reviews are from high expectations that are a little unrealistic or perhaps novice "campers" who decide 2 hours into the great outdoors should service to them like the Coast hotel... I VERY HIGHLY recommend this beautiful resort and the amazing people who run it!

Was charged $260 for two nights in one RV lot. They charged me per “unit” which it does not specify their website. It says extra vehicles will cost more it doesn’t say how much. Be warned I guess it’s double the price for an extra vehicle. I had two pickups and one tent in one lot. I guess instead of 45$ a night like it says on their website it magically became $130 a night. Management was super rude about it when questioned and basically told me to pound sand, their rates are their rates, stay or go but would not refund me when I wanted to go. Funny how that works. Apparently I’m not the only person who has been ripped off. I told a few people in the small town I’m from and this is not the first time it’s happened. Choose another resort these people are crooks.
