We had an absolute blast at this place and can’t recommend it enough. If you’re after a proper rustic cabin right on the lake—the kind of spot that feels peaceful the second you pull in—this is it. The setting is beautiful, the cabins are solid, and the whole place has that relaxed, unpretentious vibe you hope for but don’t always get. The kids were in heaven. Between swimming, fishing, biking around the property, kayaking, and just exploring the shoreline, they were busy from morning until they finally crashed at night. The owners were fantastic—genuinely helpful without being overbearing. The cabins themselves were surprisingly clean and well-kept, way better than we expected for a rustic lakeside setup. Everything felt cared for, and the price was more than fair for what you get. We left already talking about coming back next year. 10/10—highly recommend if you want a low-stress, family-friendly lake getaway.

My family and I have been coming to this resort for 3 years now. Shay and Taylor are such wonderful hosts and really connect with their guests. The cabins are rustic but very comfortable and the views are absolutely beautiful. You truly feel like family at Rainbow Resort. We are already counting down the days until our return in August! We just spent 5 nights at Rainbow Resort. Our first time at this resort. We had a fantastic time. The cabin was rustic and cozy. The lake is beautiful. We brought our dog with us and she loved it. The resort is operated by Tayler and Shay . This is a family operated resort, and they were very nice and friendly. They are always around to help you if need anything .They have fire wood, available to purchase. You can rent a boat to take out on the lake. Everything was great, we will be suggesting to our friends and family that this is a great place to stay. Thank you Tayler and Shay for the great hospitality and memorable holiday.

Unfortunately the cabin we stayed in was in no way sealed to the outside. While I’m sure most people are ok with this at almost $200/night (cabin 1) a member of our family has a medical condition that made us unable to continue our stay. We ended up having to leave after 3 nights out of the 7 we booked and had to pay for the whole stay. While I genuinely understand having booked the space and then not being able to rebook, I think there should be greater transparency about the condition of the accommodations. It’s pretty typical to expect a cabin to be sealed from the outdoors and not to have constant wind inside.

It’s the perfect all around camping spot! The location is beautiful, the lake has great fishing, it has cabins and camping spots with water and power at both, and the thing that impressed me most was the way the resort has been built and maintained. There are so many things that point to the fact that the owners have prioritized an amazing experience for their guests rather than only profit maximization. If you come here you will not be disappointed!

So this place is amazing... right on the water, clean cabins, area is amazing, great owners. I will definitely be back, my only negative is the debit machine doesn't let you decide your tip, I am not against leaving a tip but I like to choose what amount I am going to leave. So next time I will be doing etransfer but that is my only negative and its not enough to deter me from going back!

Great resort. I loved the lake cabins. They had everything we needed and we loved hanging all day at the lake and flying our RC Planes. The owners are great. I would suggest this resort to anyone who asks! Great value, great customer service, great place!

Can't say enough positive things about this spot!! If you're looking for a cozy rustic cabin on the lake, this is exactly what you're hoping for. Tons of activities for the kids, swimming, fishing, biking, kayaking amd exploring. The couple who run the resort are amazing, helped us with boat rentals and let our kids borrow fishing rods. Cabins were VERY clean - far exceeded our expectations. Super reasonably priced as well! 10/10 would recommend.

This resort is like our second home. It is truly a gem of a place . If you haven't spent any time here you are definitely missing out. Everything is 5/5. If you want a resort you can go to and be treated like family this is the place. We love all the people at rainbow resort ?

Our first visit to this small and quiet lakeside resort. Shay and Taylor were awesome hosts. The shower room was spotless, as were the toilet facilities. We stayed 4 nights at site 3 which is waterfront and it accommodated our 20’ trailer without any issues. Boat rentals are available and they also have on site propane sales. We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return.
