What a gem this place is! We spent 4 nights in the Cedar cabin that was well equipped with a kitchen, hot showers with great water pressure, an abundance of outlets, comfortable beds, WiFi, and a brand new grill on the porch. The cabins were in the process of getting a facelift while there and they looked great. We came to Ruth Lake for big Kokanee and were not disappointed. You have to work for them but they range in size from 2-4 lbs. The lodge has aluminum boats with rod holders and trolling motors available for rent and we found them perfectly adequate for our Kokanee fishing needs. (Bring a fish finder if you have one but we fished blind and still caught plenty of Kokanee). The lodge has a dock, storage shed nearby, and a fish cleaning station that we used daily. France and Daryl are fantastic hosts and even made some of their surplus fruits and herbs from garden available to us. We loved everything about this place from the peaceful ambience, the abundant wildlife, and the fantastic fishing.

Always great to visit Ruth Lake Lodge, France and Darrel always have been great hosts and inviting people. They have a large site that requires them to be working all the time. The fishing was good but challenging at times. The cabin was clean and ready for our stay. The only small issue was the BBQ ability to cook our steaks and meat was underperforming due to age of the unit outside of that the stay was fantastic.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Ruth Lake Lodge Resort. France and Daryl were informative, helpful, and very kind people. The cabin had everything we needed for comfort and amenities. Bring your own drinking water if you don't want to drink the well water. The cabin was clean and the few instructions were simple and clear. The view from the back porch was lovely. Beautiful setting. My son loved having the loft to himself. We would definitely stay here again!

My family and I rented all 3 cabins for Thanksgiving at Ruth Lake Resort and what a beautiful oasis it was!!! The cabins were spotless and well stocked with everything we needed and more. The owners were more than helpful and checked in with us throughout the weekend to make sure we had everything we needed. The outdoor space had a family size bbq, well maintained outdoor lawn chairs and a large picnic table for outdoor dining. There was also ample pre-chopped firewood! While there, we used the sauna daily, fished off the dock, and enjoyed the massage services. I highly recommend the sauna and massages! The sauna and spa were both inviting spaces and very clean and the treatment was 10/10 and reasonably priced. You can tell, the owners love what they are doing and make you feel like you are family. I recommend this resort the next time you need to relax in wildness and recharge your battery.

My husband&I with our dog visited Ruth Lake this fall, 2023. We loved the quiet, no phones, wifi only at the office! Our cabin was cozy&warm and well outfitted for our needs, with hot showers, and the sunny, private porch facing the lake afforded us a beautiful view to the lake, wildlife and fall colours. We enjoyed long walks through trails and calm paddling on the lake. It was a beautiful location! Our Hosts France&Daryl were very friendly and most helpful. They warmly welcomed and enjoyed our dog, Jasper! And, Frances's Spa treatment was absolutely "the best",

My husband and I stayed in pine cabin with our dog for a winter getaway. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the host. The cabin was excellent! The cabin was fully equipped with everything we would need (excluding food and toiletries) and was clean. The grounds are clean and serene. I would recommend ruth lake lodge to anyone for an any time of year getaway.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay in the Cedar cabin! The very comfortable and clean two bedroom cabin has a great little kitchen with all the things you might need for dishes and pots, a wood stove if you get chilly, a bbq on the deck, and a little fire pit looking toward the lake. France and Daryl were so welcoming and helpful telling us all about the area. It was great to swim in the lake off the dock and watch the minnows and dragon flies. Highly recommend it! If you are a horsey person looking for a great place to camp with your horses, there are a couple of paddocks on the property and lots of trails to ride around.

Ruth Lake Lodge is a beautiful place and so peaceful. My husband and I stayed in the Pine Cabin for 3 nights recently. Cabin had all the basic amenities plus many wonderful extras including towels, hand soap, paper towels, pillows etc. Daryl and France were amazing hosts and very friendly. We received fresh veggies from their garden every day, so delicious. We had a fun time on the lake and the fishing was good. Last night at the resort we saw a mama deer and her young one right outside our cabin. Incredible. I highly recommend this resort. We will return.

Three of us came up late this October to go hunting for a week. We were used to areas with " Rustic Cabins" but we were delighted to find the excellent, well equipped and comfortable cabins at Ruth Lake Lodge. France and Daryl are fantastic hosts who made us feel welcome to the area, and helped with directions to the area roads and services. The cabin was wonderful....warm, with a particularly well equipped kitchen with everything you need for cooking and serving, very comfortable beds with warm duvets, and a lovely view over the lake. We hope to come again!
