Had a great time staying at the resort, facilities are clean and well kept. Owners are awesome! Greatly recommend this place.
This resort was the perfect rustic getaway we were looking for! The eagles nest cabin was exactly as pictured and the perfect size for 2 people and a dog with had everything we needed. The wood burning stove/ fireplace was so cozy and the cabin was lake front which was amazing. The bathrooms were clean and super nice! The management was super helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!!
3-day ice fishing cabin nicely renovated warm , clean worked great for 3 guys . Luke was very accommodating lending us the stuff we forgot making sure we looked after.going to try to get back in the spring
So far so good ! I enjoy staying here. With $95 for a whole waterfront cabin, you can't expect more good but You will. No bugs ,rain over night and sunshine at the day . Bring your own fan and You will be fine.
We stayed here from Aug 3-6th 2023 for a family reunion that’s was hosted 2 min up the road. 7 family’s rented spots here and 4 of them being cabins. The cabins are not huge but everything you need and way easier than tenting. We rented the 2 bedroom. All cabins have a fully screened decks and ours had a full size fridge and freezer. Comes with hot plate, microwave, plates, cups and all utensils needed. The beds were double size and came with sheets and pillows. You need to bring your own blankets. The sink has hot water for washing dishes. ( doesn’t last very long but still is good ) Bring your own drinking water as the tap water is lake water. Small dock with crystal clear water that was absolutely beautiful. Decent fishing and perfect paddle boarding conditions. All windows in the cabins are screened and had zero issues with mosquitoes or bugs. We stayed with our two kids and German Shepherd. We will definitely be coming back. It’s about 30 min drive to 100 mile for groceries or 10 minutes for $tore. It’s ran by a nice family that lives on site in the corner overlooking lake. Bathrooms are very clean and shower was great. Definitely recommend this place as the price was very reasonable.
Sulphurous lake is big, with crystal clear waters. The cabin right by the water is rustic but very clean. The amenities are modest, but for what they are they excel. The communal bathrooms/showers are spotless, the docks are well built and the boats they offer (we had a 12" aluminum with a 8.9hp motor) are well kept and leak free. Bottom line, would easily re-book a cabin and boat. Friendly staff, peace and quiet, by a beautiful lake in the Cariboo.
Great hospitality. Very friendly owners (Sheila and Luke) and staff. We were a party ("gang") of four and we were comfortably situated in Cabin #5 - the Fox Cabin. There was ample living space, a good wood heat stove and all of the kitchen utensils that we needed. The communal bathroom was clean and functional with a good shower. There are three docks plus a ramp to unload a boat, if needed. The price was very good and appropriate for what was offered. The camp is rustic but we knew that from the advertising and pictures. Sheila and/or Luke responded quickly to any requests that we had and offered advice about the surrounding area. Thank you for a great three nights.
