If you are looking for a cosy cabin on a remote lake, your private dock and tinner with electric motor, peace and quiet but for the calling of loons, and a luminous Milky Way at night, then Rustic Resort is for you. Jenna and Lamont are dedicated, hardworking and attentive hosts. Spending a day alone on a beautiful hike-in wilderness lake fishing for powerful rainbows is my happy place.

Very cool little cabins steps from a lake! If you are looking for an easy way to experience just how beautiful British Columbia is then you need to visit Rustic Resorts. Great fishing aswell right from your doorstep! We were tired of camping and wanted something a little more comfortable but still at a very reasonable price. Just a short drive from the highway and you are deep into the wilderness protected by really cool log cabins. Views of the lake, star gazing by the evening fire, wake up early and fish steps from your front door. We love it here so much, just got back from our third year in a row, already planning next year. Hosts are friendly and down to earth, we couldn’t love this place more.

This place is truly amazing! It was our first time visiting and it won't be our last. The Rustic Resort is magical and Jenna and those who run it are so welcoming, it exceed our expectations, family of four and we have two dogs and loved every minute.

Great location to get away from the crowds and unwind. Quadding, fishing, paddleboarding, swimming and hiking all outside your cabin! Highly recommend getting a cabin on the lake with your own private dock and boat. The owners are very kind and helpful and will give you all the information you need about the surrounding area. We loved our time here, We will definitely be coming back someday!

We recently stayed at Rustic Resort in Darfield and had a fantastic experience! From the moment we arrived—despite being late—the hosts were super welcoming and went out of their way to accommodate us. The cabin was already preheated, which was a huge relief after a long, tiring journey. The cabins and toilets were exceptionally clean, and the hot shower off the grid was an absolute treat. The setting is wonderfully private with no other properties nearby, making it a perfect spot to truly unwind. Boats were provided for us, and the fishing was an absolute highlight of our trip! The cabins themselves were tastefully done, adding to the overall cozy and comfortable feel of the stay. We had a truly memorable trip and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet, well-equipped off-grid getaway!

20km's up one of two logging roads takes you to the Rustic Resort in the Darfield, Little Fort area. Jeena, Lamont, and Tracy were great hosts. The cabins are comfortable with fully equipped kitchens. There is a bathhouse with flush toilets and hot showers - what a luxury! There is access to several beautiful fishing lakes, one of them right of your front deck. Summit and Jack Pine lakes are worth the hike as the fish are larger. This is a beautiful place owned and managed by beautiful people.

Beautiful place, very well kept cabins. The owners were super helpful and provided everything you could need. Good fishing on the lakes surrounding. IF I had to pick 1 thing, I will be bringing my own cooking utensils, (knives, spatula, large cast iron) but im picky about these things. Highly recommend if you want somewhere off the beaten path, and I will definitely be going back myself!

A Rustic Haven for Nature-Loving Couples:The Perfect Wedding Venue Review: Our wedding at the Rustic Resort was an absolute dream come true! From the moment we set foot on the property, we knew it was the perfect venue for our nature-inspired celebration. The staff at the Rustic Resort were incredibly attentive and accommodating throughout the entire planning process. They took the time to understand our vision and went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was taken care of. Their professionalism and warm hospitality made us feel like we were part of their family. The venue itself is nestled in an idyllic setting, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty. The hand-crafted arbour and benches at the dock provided a picturesque backdrop for our ceremony. The attention to detail and craftsmanship of these pieces added a touch of rustic elegance to our special day. Our guests were in awe of the charming and intimate atmosphere created by these unique elements. One of the standout features of the Rustic Resort is the availability of cozy cabins for our guests to stay in. This allowed everyone to fully immerse themselves in the experience, creating a sense of togetherness and making our wedding weekend truly unforgettable. The cabins were comfortable, well-appointed, and provided a peaceful retreat for our loved ones to relax and enjoy the surrounding nature. Additionally, the Rustic Resort offers fantastic fishing opportunities for those who love the great outdoors. Many of our guests took advantage of this and spent their downtime casting their lines in the nearby lakes. It added an extra element of fun and excitement to our wedding festivities, and we loved seeing our friends and family bonding over their shared love for fishing. The on-site facilities at the Rustic Resort were top-notch. We were able to bring in our own food and caterers, which allowed us to customize our menu to perfection. The staff made sure that everything was set up smoothly and efficiently, making our reception a seamless and enjoyable experience for everyone. In conclusion, our wedding at the Rustic Resort surpassed all of our expectations. The hand-crafted arbour and benches, the cozy cabins, and the opportunity for fishing added a unique and enchanting touch to our special day. If you're a nature-loving couple seeking a rustic haven for your wedding, we highly recommend the Rustic Resort. Thank you to the entire team for making our wedding day an unforgettable experience filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. *****

Had a wonderful family weekend at Rustic Resort. Cabin is simple, and clean. Wood stove was very welcome during cold, rainy days. Service was excellent. Cabins come with access to boats, many located at hike in lakes. resort provides full or half batteries for those with motors (use a half if you're hiking a distance!) We accessed 5 lakes this weekend and had great fishing at all of them. Smaller fish, but wild rainbows put up a good fight.

This place is a must visit. Fishing is spectacular and the resort is situation in the middle of so many lakes it will take years of return trips to see them all. Cabins are simple but clean and comfortable. Jenna is a great host - very knowledgeable, welcoming and even offered to grab food for us from town. Great service all around.
