We had an absolutely amazing stay at this resort! Melissa and Jamie were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and genuinely wonderful hosts who made us feel at home from the very beginning. The cabin exceeded all expectations — it had everything we needed and more. It was cozy, clean, and perfectly set up for a comfortable stay. You can really feel the “home away from home” atmosphere everywhere. We were completely blown away by the peaceful setting and overall experience. The fishing was also fantastic, and we truly appreciate the great tips and recommendations Melissa and Jamie shared with us — they made a huge difference and made our trip even more enjoyable. We left feeling refreshed, happy, and already looking forward to coming back again. Highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with amazing hosts and unforgettable nature!

My first time at Hathaway lake resort with my partner. We got recommendation from a friend to have a little stay and maybe catch some fish. We loved the place. We made some friends, learned some tricks and walked away with some great memories and a few fish. 10 Kokanee and 1 horse fly rainbow trout to be exact. Melissa and her family were very helpful to us whatever we need. We loved the views, the fish hut and felt we had everything we needed for our stay. Thank you guys

My son and I came up to Hathaway Resort for an extended weekend and some spring fishing. We found the resort easily and were greeted by the Melissa and Jamie right away and it seemed like we were meeting up with old friends... very welcoming and passionate about their location and resort. (they were super helpful and informative about the area, lakes, and even gave regular fishing reports and advice over the course of our stay). The cabin was very clean and well stocked and quite comfortable for our stay; loved eating breakfast each morning on the deck over looking the lake. Melissa, Jamie and the rest of the family made our stay feel like home. It was very hard to leave after having such a great time with them as Hosts. Cabins, washrooms and showers are immaculate. Location is prime fishing grounds. Anyone looking to get out experience some great fishing wonderful nature and even better hosts, this is your go to spot! 10/10 experience. Cannot wait to come visit them all again!

We stayed in our trailer on Site 1, with a beautiful view of the lake. So peaceful as we were the only ones there late in the season. Melissa, Jamie and Ben were most welcoming and cheerful.

Beautiful spot! We stayed in our tent and we had a huge lot, more space than we needed, it was great. Bathrooms and showers are very clean and easily accessible. Got to see the northern lights and local wildlife. Beautiful lake and views. Highly recommend!

Stayed here twice this summer. We came as a group (2 couples) and booked cabins 3,4 and 5. All of the cabins were cozy and stocked with everything we would have needed. The bathrooms were always nice and clean and the showers were hot and the boat dock has a lot of space and is well Maintained. Facilities are excellent here! Melissa and Jamie were excellent hosts. They were far beyond kind and hospitable, these guys seriously go above and beyond to accommodate people. They made our experience so smooth sailing and made sure we had everything we needed! We are all so happy we got to spend a good amount of our summer at Hathaway Lake Resort, we made some fantastic memories there and can’t wait to do it again! I highly recommend Hathaway Lake Resort !

Melissa and Jamie were excellent hosts, always available by email for information or to assist with needs. The cabin kitchen was very well stocked and had everything we needed for preparing meals. Beautiful view of the lake from our balcony. Comfortable beds. Cabins immaculately clean. Short walk to bathroom and showers, very clean and lots of hot water. Boat rentals available with electric motors. Limited tackle available at the office, but a larger selection at the neighbouring resort. Road to boat launch may be challenging if visiting during rainy weather, but we didn’t have any difficulty. We enjoyed the resort and plan to return next summer

We (Couple + dog) spent 5 nights at Hathaway in cabin 4. We’ve done fishing cabins before, so we knew what the general vibe would be (self clean up, limited supplies, BYO Water, rustic, etc). While the cabins are ‘rustic’, everything you need for some quiet time away is there. Though older, everything was clean and maintained; The central washrooms and showers were regularly taken care of. The patio overlooking the lake made a great perch for my wife to have coffee in the morning while I was doing some early fishing. Fishing was slow while we were there, but a couple on the line was better than nothing! Melissa and her family made wonderful hosts making sure everyone needs were met and stopped by for a quick hello, check in and chat when available. We’ll absolutely return; hopefully with better timing on fishing!

We spent three nights in Cabin 6 with a group of four, during a cold snap in late January - we were warm and comfortable and had access to as much wood for the stove as we needed! The lake was beautiful and the ice fishing lots of fun. Melissa could not have been more kind and helpful - we will be coming back and I'd recommend anyone looking to stay in the area give Hathaway Lake Resort a try!
